We are a reputable Mexican Canadian caravan company registered under the name Operadora Turística Caramex S.A. de C.V. We have been operating in the caravan industry for over 30 years and we also organize out-of-caravan tours and facilitate bookings for other foreign caravan operators. Caravanas de Mexico is officially accredited in Mexico.
What important documents do we need?
You will need your passports, vehicle registrations, tourist permits for you and your vehicles, and Mexican car/RV insurance. We will guide you through all of these documents.
Why travel in a caravan?

4. Companionship.
5. Peace of mind.
6. The pleasure of being accompanied to the best places to visit.
Is it safe?
We know from experience that Mexico is very safe for RVers, especially in groups. We carefully choose our destinations and excursions.
How the roads look like in Mexico?
We use toll roads, main roads, and village paths. The roads are generally in good conditions, average, and sometimes more difficult with speed bumps. Caravanas de Mexico chooses its routes carefully so, we use the best roads available.
About mechanical problems on the road?
Our caravans are usually accompanied by the “Green Angels,” renowned for being the best expert mechanics in Mexico! If a minor breakdown occurs, the caravan will wait for repair before leaving. If a major breakdown occurs, you will then be taken care of by the “Green Angels,” who will assist you throughout the repair and, upon request, will then escort you back to the caravan to rejoin your group. One thing to keep in mind; with Caravanas de Mexico you will never be left to your own on the road.
Can our four-legged friends travel with us?
Your pets, dogs and cats, are always welcome. During multi-day excursions, Caravanas de Mexico can arrange care and boarding. An up-to-date health record is required.
What about RV Campgrounds?
We always reserve the best campsites available; some are more rustic. Most of them offer three services (15 or 30 amps / water / sewer). Some offer even more with swimming pool, Wi-Fi, spa services, etc.
How many RVs do you accompany on average per caravan?
Caravanas de Mexico runs a maximum of 12 RVs plus the Wagon master. Our team limits the number of RVs to provide the best service for each participant and create a unique and unforgettable trip!
